OUR CORAL FARM Staff & Management are dedicated to Coral Reef Conservation in
Malaysia through the sustainable and limited utilisation of wild hard and soft corals for the
cultivation of live F1 and F2 coral seedlings with the premise of eventually having our own
"Mother Corals" to sustain our farming operations for years to come.

| WHY CULTURE HARD & SOFT CORALS? |

Coral seedlings in our shallow reefs are readily available in the wild. However, we will utilise
wild stocks for a limited time - choosing a selection of proven types of viable farm raised
corals from Mother Colony fragments.
Coral Seedling selections are made for colour, growth form, disease resistance, quick bio-
growth base attachment and overall growth rate.
A percentage of F1 and F2 coral seedlings will be chosen for culture into our own mother
colonies.
Coral culture is a central component of the international ‘green certification’process for
the aquarium trade, whereas, we support an internationally recognised plan for eventually
phasing out the harvest of wild coral
We have confirmed high rates of survival (close to 100%) when our coral seedlings are
handled properly.
We have fast production at 3– 6 months for our coral seedlings from North Borneo shallow
coral reefs.
